Geppetto, also known as the Adversary, is the real power behind the Empire's throne. He began by carving brothers and sisters to Pinocchio and, through opportunity and the suggestion of others, started making doubles of others, which led to his seizing power and then conquering other worlds. He is defeated through the efforts of Fabletown's Fables and becomes a prisoner of Fabletown.
