As an intermediate, enthusiastic Astrologer who still finds Astrology interesting, most of us do not worship the stars and planets like the occultists, pagans and witches would do. Whereas others connecting Astrology and Witchcraft like it's interconnected or tied to one another because it's insightful, symbolic and aesthetically pleasing. It's easier to resonate because it's a pseudoscientific field of study that can be formed as a belief system without comparing to religion. Astrologers see any astrological placements as a symbolic archetype and potential symptoms that they're having by practicing pattern recognition with the combined placements and aspected ones to form pseudoscientific hypothesis or vague, personalized, observations. Astrology only guide people to evaluate their life choices and how to improve or change it themselves to break the vicious cycle that keeps on repeating the same habits, beliefs and situations. Astrologers find it morally and spiritually interesting that this spiritual practice has merits and everything can be adjusted or improved the underlying causes rather than thinking it was predetermined or just a self-fulfilling prophecy.
