Yu Okada is a bright and gentle nursery school teacher. As a new teacher, he's still unexperienced, so he heavily relies on his colleague Rumi-sensei. He's able to talk to the children on their level, which is why many of them treat him as a friend. However, he can be a bit too lenient, which makes him seem unreliable. Okada has a difficulty making decisions and freezes up when it comes to those where "failure is not an option."
