reread the manga to type mitsuki well first of all, mitsuki wanted to clear up the misunderstanding 'sooner than later' which means she wasn't planning on avoiding the misunderstanding. in chapter 6 mitsuki hesitates to call aya. she thinks aya would find her disappointing bc of how 'boring' she is. she also didn't call bc their relationship was built off of a misunderstanding and she wanted to end the misunderstanding asap but she couldn't bring herself to do it. chap 8, mitsuki doesn't wanna stand out esp at school bc she doesn't want to disrupt her peace. she also got through school with the "i'm sure i'll manage to get through this" mentality.
