I just KNEW she would be typed as ISFJ before I looked her up. But I struggle to see any functions that would make her an ISFJ except for Fe. If you consider she was taught to value duty, status etc like most people who got accepted into Sinegard's academy, I don't think she is a high Si user. An ISFJ who was raised with these beliefs and values, would still be likely to ignore that and openly approach people & care for others, no matter their status, but I just don't see her using Si a lot. I can imagine her using Ni or Ne more. She seems aware of her non-sensory environment. Other than Rin, who's definitely a sensor, she's probably more sensitive to the deeper meanings of what she can sense. I'm unsure of her type but ISFJ just sounds wrong for me. Even INFJ seems more logical to me. Her plot in book 2 is clashing a bit with my image of her in the first book, but I can still see her as a high Ni user, maybe Ne or even Ti. I'd be curious to hear arguments for her being an ISFJ besides having Fe! I think people are quick to type characters as ISFJ who love helping others and care for everyone.
