The KTX Captain is a character in Train to Busan The train conductor was in charge of driving a KTX101 train to Busan from Seoul Station. While at Daejeong Station, he talked with Ki-chul, before Yong-suk tried to get him to take them both to Busan, since it had not been contaminated, but he told him it was not possible, and he wanted to take the passengers with him. He decided to take a more direct route to Busan from Daejeong Station. He tried to call the station, but he is unable to. As the train approached East Daegu Station, he noticed there was a blockage on the tracks, and announced to all the remaining passengers that he would be changing trains to continue on to Busan and wished them good luck.
