Lyra stores her memories in very vivid detail, we get to see many flashbacks of Shon, granny, and her friend Kori She reflects on the past instead of the future (what lead to the present) which is the opposite of Ni (it's about reflecting on the future and what needs to be improved, not just "following our gut feeling to help others") She values security and staying on the right path which is very Si dom. I can see why people would type her as an INFJ, but INFJs struggle with staying in touch with their surroundings and taking immediate action (Inf Se) whereas ISFJs have troubles seeing possibilities (Inf Ne) which is what we see right at the start where she loses herself in thoughts thinking about Shon and Aleah. She reflects on the past instead of seeing the future and what it holds, she basically isolated herself which isn't Ni dom but Ne inferior.
