I don't think those who voted 'ENTP' have ever read Corto Maltese, but limited themselves to his superficial definition of 'adventurous and brilliant globetrotter' to define him as such. Or, if they read it, they stopped at the first two episodes. It's a shame folks, you don't know what you're missing. Corto is the very definition of an INFP (Fi - Ne - Si - Te): - Dreamer. His travels are continuous daydreams, sometimes neither he nor the reader distinguish the border between dream and reality - With a very powerful Fi. His morals are stainless, he always fights to help others (in spite of himself), not out of exhibitionism, or to show off, or to receive approval... but because his values oblige him to do so: he cannot tolerate injustices. And when he discovers that he doesn't live up to his own expectations of him, he makes a thousand mental reproaches for himself. He is often consumed by doubts and does not have stellar self-esteem. - empathetic (always close to the weaknesses of others) - very introspective, attracted by the depth of soul - sentimental, even if he tries to hide it. Corto wants to seem indifferent to things, he doesn't get excited or expose himself... but in reality he is continually moved by feelings, and makes the suffering of others his own. -with a melancholic streak, without a defined and precise goal... but at the same time also with a curious and unstoppable spirit, always ready to overcome obstacles and seek what he desires.
