I think he's ENTJ. The different between ISTP and ENTJ are their logical preferences. Kyle is a strategic planner. He uses Te unlike Ti. Difference between Te and Ti is Te is very goal oriented while Ti is process oriented. Ti seeks truth and Te seeks Results. If he is an ISTP he wouldn't bother entertaining Tara and encourage her to become who she is. He always tries to push her intellectually. But why would an ISTP bother with all that. Because he's an ENTJ his intuition precisely Ni have made him guess that Tara would be a useful chess piece towards the future. Then his love confession to Tara screams Inf Fi rather than Inf Fe. I mean despite being inferior Fe still cares for others' opinions and feelings. He was so sure she would fall for because well his Te has told him that he's objectively a really good choice and shamelessly using her previous promise of personal favour to ask her to fall in love and put her in a sense of dilemma. Sorry to say this but ISTP are not this shameless lol cuz their inf Fe still want them to save some face especially before their crush.
