He is not a 7, he's so much more of an image type than a head type. 7s have a clearer sense of identity, don't adapt to others as easily/willingly, are prone to getting distracted and losing sight of their long-term goals, don't want to put in the work to get what they want if the process isn't "fun," 3s have a harder time knowing what they actually want but are arguably the hardest workers. His whole "redemption" arc is complete unhealthy 3 territory, he suffers through joining a cult, a marriage he doesn't like etc. just to rehabilitate his image as a "changed man" though there's no actual integrity behind any of it. Loses sight of his actual values (caring about sea creatures) for image-related pursuits. Compare him to Frenchie (an actual 7), who's life is kind of a fucking mess, is scattered, has a selfish streak, but also knows what he wants, is in touch with his values, and just has a more solid sense of self in general.
