A young boy who was said to be the most beautiful of the mortals. While tending to sheep, he caught the attention of the gods and was promptly whisked away by Zeus in the form of an eagle, taken to Olympus where he would be given immortality, eternal youth, and serve as the cup-bearer of the gods.
