He uses what’s within to make decisions, his experience is what had Megatron allow him to protect Cybertron. A Ni dom would be stuck in their head while Shockwave is grounded in reality by hard facts and logic. He also heavily values his duty as the guardian of Cybertron, which is a natural ISTJ instinct. He acts more like a 6w5 than he does a 5w6. Although 5 is stereotyped as the logical personality, they are very imaginative and intuitive people, unlike the 6 who’s more likely to trust hard facts and logic, like Shockwave himself does.
