As far as I know, the first cognitive function shows up when we’re around 6 years old and stays with us for life, while at that age the other functions haven’t fully developed yet and don’t necessarily emerge in order. That’s why I think it’s completely normal for thinkers to act emotionally when they’re young—because their Fi/Fe isn’t developed yet. You know George the pig in Peppa Pig, right? Does he cry a lot? Yes, he cries at the smallest things. But why do I still see George as an INTP? Because his Ti developed very early. Even though he’s only about 4–6 years old, he’s constantly asking “why” about everything. The reason he cries so much is simply that his Fe is weak and not fully developed.

George is a loving little brother who looks up to and cares a lot for Peppa. He is timid and disobedient. He loves being given loads of attention, and can become a little fussy at the drop of a hat. He is usually regarded as a crybaby, due to crying so much with his trademark fountain tears, but he's also shown to actually be a lot smarter then a child his age every now and then. Like any young boy, he has an interest in things like dinosaurs and space.
