So I’ll explain why SP4 makes more sense for him then core 2. First yes the overall description of 2 might matches him but there is actually no subtype that matches seonghwa from core 2 subtypes. SP2 are too naive and innocent for seonghwa. The pride here makes the SP2 want to be protected which doesn’t matches Seonghwa perfectly. SO2 are focus on hardworking and colder emotionally then the other subtypes as they are more intellectual. A perfect example for SO2 is Hongjong. Notice how he is very focused on hardworking and good with networking and overall good with working with others which makes a good choice for leader position among everyone in the group. Not to say that seonghwa is not hardworking but he is not necessarily good with networking and is not very focused on seducing intellectually and not so focused on hardworking like Hongjong who has put SO much effort in Ateez since day 0. SX2 is seductive and focused on being desired. And yes Seonghwa might good with seduction but he is not that focused on being desired and focused on being loved. Compare him to Wooyoung which I think is a perfect example for SX2. Wooyoung is known for seducing even the members makes fun of him for always trying to be seductive. Wooyoung talks about love alot more then Seonghwa. He talks alot about loving and being loved and receiving love and giving love because being loved and desired is a an important thing for Wooyoung. Seonghwa on the other hand seems like he doesn’t care about being loved and desired as much as Wooyoung. The deep emotionality of the 4s matches Seonghwa more them the love seeking nature of the 2s. Although he does not show it alot Seonghwa is someone that has deep emotions as he is deeply empathic towards people around him. He doesn’t show much of envy which makes sense for him to SP4 the counter-type of core 4. SP4 choose to live with the suffering and believe that they can endure and handle much more. SP4 are extremely empathic as they can feel others pain deeply. One example that comes to my mind is when san said that when he talked to seonghwa about his grandpa’s death seonghwa started crying. That example shows seonghwa’s deep empathy and again he doesn’t talk alot about his emotions and express them verbally but you can see that he is an individual with deep emotions when he cries on stage and when he contacts with other’s suffering deeply. Which is said that SP4 are dry in self-tenderness and have difficulty in expressing tenderness as they have a shame of their own emotions and love gestures. They are very good caregivers and helpful of others but they have difficulties with their emotions and showing love for themselves. And someone who has deep emotions but is ashamed of them will have a difficulty of showing them which I see to make sense for Seonghwa. Also SP4 have a masochistic attitude and this I can see it in his relationship with other members. He tends to let the members treat him poorly and doesn’t say anything about it especially with Wooyoung (not in a very serious way its just Wooyoung teasing and annoying Seonghwa) as a way of showing his love for the members by accepting however the members treat him even its gonna annoy him seriously and even hurt him (not in an unhealthy way sure if the members did something very wrong to him he wouldn’t accept it properly). He also has a good taste in beauty. It was said that seonghwa loved the women section in clothes stores as he thought women had better options and envied women for that which shows his love for beauty which also a trait in SP4s. He always appeared with make up on in his lives as he cares about looking beautiful and cares about beauty overall. These are some traits of the SP4 that I have seen in Seonghwa and honestly reading the trait structure of SP4 made me think of Seonghwa multiple times. I did explain his VFEL for him but I’ll explain it once more. His love for beauty goes in hand with him being a 2F. His 2F is very obvious. All of his vlogs that I watched he is talking about physical things like his outfit choices, asking the viewers what to wear, giving beauty advices, explaining why he likes his make up to be done in a certain way, showing a perfume that he bought and his impression of it. He processes physics positivity alot which is why he is 2F. 1V is also obvious as he is more determined and aggressive about his desires and goals them your typical SP4. 3E because he is more rigid when it comes to emotions as he doesn’t not express his emotions alot and once he dose it’s usually an explosion of emotions. 4L because it’s obvious that the he doesn’t care about logic that much but is not bothered with it. As for his it’s obvious that he is ESI for everyone and for MBTI no way he is Ne inferior.
