songs like “bet she’s not your girlfriend” and “the end of the world” are very future-oriented and based in one decision. this is the same case for “love comes quickly” and “miracles.” “how can you expect to be taken seriously” and “miserablism” show te, miserablism being more te-fi. (miserablism is satire but seems to hold some personal truth as well.) lines like “love comes quickly, whatever you do” that doesn’t sound like ne at all???? “vampires,” and other songs on the nightlife album show unhealthy inferior se, considering the whole concept’s album is about clubbing... (which probably had some influence from chris lowe who i believe is se-aux.) this also goes for “we all feel better in the dark,” which was mostly written and performed by chris but does have some influence from neil as well considering he does actually sing on the track. just because he’s a musician doesn’t mean he’s ENFP, and while his fi is particularly strong, i don’t really see the ne anywhere. I feel like his Ni, Te, and Fi are definitely there. Neil is often described by Chris as sometimes “too uptight and bossy.” His Ni comes from the fact that he was sure of the synthesizer’s longevity, believing the instrument would stick around for the long haul even though most of the music world was moving back into rock at the time. His Fi is clear—he has very strong beliefs about music and what makes a good track, and compared to Chris, he cares more about the moral standard behind it as well as the sound. I’m not sure where I see his Se grip, as Neil usually presents in his most healthy state (or tries to hide when he’s in an unhealthy mindset) compared to Chris who doesn’t really seem to care as much. But he does notably seem to drink when he’s in a bad mood (PSB vs. America), which seems to me like an unhealthy usage of Se. But I see more Te than Fi personally, just because of his strict regimen, sureness in his opinions (which I also just think is his Ni) and in how he is unafraid to be blunt or demanding with people (he’s apparently known to slap people who he thinks have stupid opinions, including the head of Canadian EMI back in the 80s) 487 or 485. Not sure. Nah actually, 485. His 7 tendencies just seem related to inferior Se, actually

전기

Neil Francis Tennant (born 10 July 1954) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, music journalist and co-founder of the synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys, which he formed with Chris Lowe in 1981. He also was a journalist for Smash Hits, and was assistant editor for the magazine for a period in the mid-1980s. Tennant coined the phrase 'imperial phase' to describe the period in which a musical artist is regarded to be at their commercial and creative peak simultaneously. This observation was initially self-referential, made as the Pet Shop Boys had achieved commercial success with three British number one hits ("It's a Sin", "Heart", and "Always on My Mind"), had received unanimous critical praise for their first three albums, and had expanded their creative horizons through innovative collaborations in the visual and performing arts.
