🕊🕊 [1/2] Important note: I refer to Godzilla by his nickname "Goji" a few times, so if you're wondering, yes that is Godzilla. Please read my second message in the replies after. This page is a mess, he's pretty mistyped. I think the people who have typed him so far aren't super big Godzilla fans like I am. I've been a fan since I was 3 years old. But anyways, Godzilla is not that much of an agressive individual and generally AVOIDS conflict, not unnecessarily start it. People should know that just because someone is assertive or domineering doesn't make them an 8w9/8w7. And that exact thing goes for Legendary Godzilla. I think Godzilla is a very healthy 9. You shouldn't type Goji as an E8 just because we see him fighting in the movies... It is true that Godzilla is power seeking in the lore and desires control and responsibility, but that doesn't necessarily make him an E8. Especially because Goji is ISTP, he does have a sensory impulse from his auxiliary Se, and I do agree that he has a strong W8. Godzilla is seen as being aggressive when provoked, but majority of the time he's... surprisingly very calm and chill. Well, perhaps that's surprising to someone else. You can see this in the Godzilla Dominion graphic novelization. Inside of the Enneagram 9 trait structure is and I quote, "Robotic Habit Boundedness." This is the habit of getting into a routine that eases the brain of the Enneagram 9 and makes them feel normal and content. Godzilla does in fact have habits and a schedule, but is a lot of the time engaging with the E9's sloth, resting for years at a time. He circles the globe every now and then, making sure there's no conflict. Godzilla is very hard to type since the core motivations of E8 and E9 are both super present in his personality. He does desire peace and can be a bit sluggish, but at times can be very aggressive, but usually when he is provoked. E9 disintegrates into E6 and E8 disintegrates into E5. For starters, Goji does not withdraw when he disintegrates. If anything, he becomes hyper anxious and even more so aggressive, which is why I believe he disintegrates into E6 instead. E6 is a reactive type, after all. Godzilla has a strong W8 and Se impulse. A type 9 disintegrating into type 6 would make the 9 become security-oriented and possibly anxious. And yes, I do believe Goji becomes more outwardly angry than inwardly angry when under stress. He becomes defensive of what makes him feel safe and peaceful, usually it's this very earth. Godzilla at his core is peaceful but will become impulsive if the time calls for it, keep that in mind for later. Again, Goji does have characteristics of E8 but he still isn't aggressive enough for it to be his core. Not that all E8 types are just aggressive, impulsive people that don't think, but Godzilla just really isn't that aggressive unless provoked, and when I say not aggressive, I mean like almost not at all. Godzilla can be cold hearted, for instance when he laughed at Kong's misery in Godzilla vs. Kong. But he's Fe inferior. Again with Godzilla Dominion, you can see a lot of his thoughts. This is the important part. Godzilla is an animal and has lots of sensory techniques, but he genuinely does contemplate his decisions and how they will effect the environment. Like I said, Goji desires control but ultimately his desire is for the world to be a safe environment for every other creature to thrive. He thinks closely and observes his possible decisions and ultimately does what he needs to do for the greater good, which does point me to So9. You can see that behavior when Goji stops Amhuluk, a toxic kaiju, from killing Behemoth, a healing kaiju, over territory. I know I keep referring to Godzilla Dominion, but this graphic novel shows a lot of his thoughts. In fact, Goji does indeed have the merging aspect of E9 (or Sx9 in specific). In this novel he is finding new territory due to the fact that his home was destroyed in Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). He thinks about how his territory isn't just a home, but it is a part of him, and he can feel the tides in his blood. And pain the mother earth herself experiences, he will experience as well. This shows some traits of merging with a cared one of the E9. And no, this isn't necessarily a romantic trait. Definitely plausible for it to be platonic. The final piece of his Enneagram, the tritype. It seems people already voted for a 6 and 3 fix which I definitely agree with. I think again this contributes to Godzilla being typed as 8w9. Like I mentioned earlier, E6 is a reactive type and can be aggressive if it's security feels threatened. E3 is a competency type, so with that in his tritype + I think Godzilla has integrated into type 3, he's more productive than the average 9. He is still lazy and sluggish at times, and I REALLY don't think he is type 8. But his Big 5? Oh, no. We have to go over that now.
