This is a snippet from Jung’s work on the introverted feeling type (Fi-dom) regarding how suppressed Te surfaces in them: “Although, in the normal type, the tendency to overpower or coerce the other person with her secret feelings rarely plays a disturbing role, and never leads to a serious attempt of this kind, some trace of it nonetheless seeps through into the personal effect they have on him, in the form of a domineering influence often difficult to define. It is sensed as a sort of stifling or oppressive feeling which holds everybody around her under a spell. It gives a woman of this type a mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious. [From here on, it mostly discusses neurosis, not the normal type] This power is derived from the deeply felt, unconscious images, but consciously she is apt to relate it to the ego, whereupon her influence becomes debased into personal tyranny. Whenever the unconscious subject is identified with the ego, the mysterious power of intensive feeling turns into a banal and arrogant desire to dominate, a vanity, and a petty bossiness. This produces a type of woman most regrettably distinguished by her unscrupulous ambition and mischievous cruelty. But it is a change, however, that also leads to neurosis.” “Unscrupulous ambition”? “Mischievous cruelty”? “A banal and arrogant desire to dominate”? Well, if that isn’t just Moge-ko all the way. There’s a pertinent difference from her brand of Fi-Te expression and the introverted feeler’s brand, though, in that Jung notes the latter never makes a “serious attempt” at dominating with their emotional convictions, and rarely disrupts others with said feelings. Being Jungian introverts, Fi-doms are fundamentally quiet, self-contained people. Moge-ko’s Te, though it manifests like this description, is pretty much everywhere. She also has lower Te serving Fi, hence the striking resemblance, but it’s not quite “suppressed” in favor of Fi like it is in Fi-doms. And she’s a clear Jungian extrovert who focuses more on her environment than her inner world, if her constant pursuit of stimulation says anything. Regarding which Pe function she leads with, I would say she shows little sign of divergent intuition—not a possibilities gal, this one. Instead, she’s pretty attuned to experiencing the wonders of the sensory world, as I believe the residents of Mogeko Castle will tell you. (Well, the ones who are in a position to).
