even with how horribly inconsistent his writing is, i really can’t see inf fe tbh, and i do think se > ti makes more sense. he has a focus on what’s going on around him overall more than he does his logic, and i mean, that fe. there’s no way it’s inferior. i can’t remember the chapter (might’ve been like 10 or something??) but he gets into a full-fledged fight with Noctis because he viewed him as selfish and uncaring towards others (namely Ignis) and believed he needed to be more perspective towards others and consider what they went through rather than focusing on himself. you can see how he puts more usage into se > ti in this scene, too, as he’s also more or less forcing him to come to terms with reality and the situation around him rather than everyone’s internal thoughts and worlds.
