One of my favorite morally gray characters! She’s super underrated and people tend to overlook her trauma and reasonings even if they were crappy. She has great character development (even if she went rouge at the end.) She does say at one point she was “carefree and happy go lucky” quite like Star, but I still would type her as a ISTJ even when shes younger. When Moon describes herself as once being more carefree, she’s describing her temperament and circumstances. I don’t think Trauma turned a possible ESFP Moon into an ISTJ. For example under pressure Star and Moon are completely different. Star being more Se–Fi makes her much more likely to engage directly with whatever is happening. Moon doesn’t really operate like that. When Moon becomes Queen, she becomes deliberate, duty-focused and controlled very quickly. Most of the comments I see here are saying she’s a ESFP/ENFP, but, If Moon were fundamentally ESFP and adulthood merely traumatized her into becoming rigid, she would probably be more so of a character that’s shown fighting against structure itself. feeling imprisoned by planning, repeatedly escaping into impulsivity etc. Moon is also a great example of a 1 enneagram, she often thinks: what should happen,how people should behave, what her responsibilities are, what a good queen should do, what a good mother should do, what is acceptable versus unacceptable. Oh, and she also isn’t merely controlling because she’s afraid. There’s more so moral judgment underneath it. She can be extremely self-controlled because she believes she ought to be. She also feels obligated to take care of people. She’s very much a “I know what’s best for you.” Type of character If that makes sense. Shes a 163 because she shows a lot of the time that she thinks 1-I must do what’s right, 6-I must prevent things from going wrong, and 3-I must be competent. (Plus I relate to her so much as a 613 ISFJ myself!)
