Hear me out: people with trauma can try to avoid their bad feelings, it's natural, it applies to INFPs too! Loops don't exist, being obsessed with your past doesn't make anyone a Si user and not being that obsessed doesn't mean you don't have it. He seeming cold to a lot of people doesn't mean that he has Inferior Fe too, that's just steriotypical. He doesn't say things without realizing that it may be interpreted wrong, he does that in moments that Futaba asks about his past or that he feels that they are getting to close, simplifying: he is just afraid of being vulnerable, becoming close to someone.
