Helena is Ni-dominant rather than Si-dominant. Her entire character arc is about discovering her identity, and one of the most clearest Ni traits is searching for deeper meaning and identity. She is estranged from her own identity and legit has very little access to her past which forces her to question who she is and what she believes in. She is held captive in her mind and she struggles to hold to what little she can remember of old self and struggles to regain her memories . A Si-dominant character would rely heavily on memory and past experience, but in her case she literally cannot do that instead she spends the story interpreting fragment and is trying to form a deeper understanding of herself which is Ni-driven. She is also constantly tries to under people on a much deeper psychological level. With Ni user they naturally look for hidden motives and emotional patterns in others. In example of this is that Helena initially sees Kaine Ferron as cruel and dangerous but over time, she begins to understand the loneliness and trauma behind his behaviour. This shows the Ni + Fe as instead of judging him based on his actions she tries to see the deeper reasons behind his actions.
