i don’t understand INTJ votes for sherlock, i think he’s never INTJ (especially in the BBC). i do understand ISTP votes better. i don’t think he’s ENTP either, but i do see he has much more “ENTP energy” compared to other sherlock, but that’s because of Ne as the auxiliary function and he uses a lot of it. he may look like a Se user, using his senses to understand the world, but i think he doesn’t uses it very activily. he mostly obtain informations from the world and gathers them in his mind for the future (and that’s Si). when he solves a crime, he doesn’t solve it in the moment or because he sees something in the crime scene and that solves the puzzle. in most of the episodes he sees something in the moment and he makes an assumption, but it turns out to be wrong - he laters goes to his apartment and when he is thinking or while he is brainstorming with joan an idea comes up and he finds the answer. he mostly solves the crimes in his apartment, after writing down thousands of ideas or picking up journals with the information of the case. he uses way more Si than we think. and for Ne “Ne is the main way TiNe’s take in information. It means they use their intuition to find patterns, underlying principles, and ideas, to construct theories and frameworks, and to form connections as they talk, write, or create.” he basically remembers things he studied in the crime scene (Si) and puts them together with Ne, everything always with his logical analysis of Ti.
