Dao Zhi (盗跖) is one of the Mohist leaders and the notorious "King of Thieves".Dao Zhi has auburn hair at the top of his head and in his bangs, but the lower part of his hair is dark brown. (This is much more noticeable in the first two seasons; from the third season on, his hair colors are more similar in color due to graphical advancements.) Personality Dao Zhi is a talkative prankster who likes cracking jokes, sometimes at other peoples' expenses. He dislikes Confucianism and their ideals, but is not opposed to working with them. Although he has a laid-back personality and enjoys messing around with people, he suggests to Zhang Han that his outward appearances don't match how he feels on the inside. When Wei Zhuang is about to kill the prison guard that was watching over him, Dao Zhi leaps in front of the guard and knocks him out to keep Wei Zhuang from killing him. Later, when the prison guard sacrifices himself to let him escape, he looks on in horror and breaks down in tears when Pao Ding asks if the man was his comrade. Synopsis Skills and Abilities Dao Zhi is extremely nimble and is by far the fastest of the Mohists. As his moniker suggests, he is very capable at infiltrating and stealing, claiming to Baifeng that "nobody is faster at stealing." Even when locked in the highest-security cell in the underwater prison, he instantly undid his bindings and unlocked the cage once Ge Nie and Wei Zhuang arrived, only having stayed there in order to wait for them. He has a skill known as Divine Lightning Step, which he uses against Baifeng while fighting over the Thousand Machines Copper Disk. When he uses it, he is surrounded by a yellowish-orange aura. Due to injuries he sustained in the past, though, he cannot overuse this skill. In battle, he uses a bladed disk that he can throw around or use to block weapons. However, combat isn't his best suit, and while he can put up a good fight against even the likes of Zhang Han (a general) and Baifeng (former adjutant to a general and a strong fighter), he is easily outdone by combat-oriented individuals like Sheng Qi and Shao Siming. Fights Relationships Duanmu Rong Dao Zhi fell hopelessly in love with Duanmu Rong after she saved him from a fatal injury. However, she does not reciprocate his feelings and is instead in love with Ge Nie. After she falls comatose upon taking one of Baifeng's attacks directed at Ge Nie, Dao Zhi held resentment towards Ge Nie.
