Lots of deleted scenes for Frozen II featured Iduna in more depth. She was more distant, more 'in her own world' and possibly even a bit 'colder' towards her daughters, which may have been partly why these were deleted (Disney Animation would want to portray a 'warmer' mother of the main characters). Examples include the original scenes of All Is Found - she lays down Anna and walks to the window herself rather than carrying Elsa with her. She also has the trait of 'laughing mercilessly' - such as when young Agnarr is being blown around by Gale the Wind Spirit. Apparently some people at a preview of Frozen II saw grown-up Iduna laughing when Elsa and Anna are scared by some monster voice that Agnarr does as he tells the story. I wish they kept these scenes in Frozen II, though I'm quite sure there will be more Frozen films (e.g. Frozen 3) to develop ideas like these in the future...!

Queen Iduna is a character from Walt Disney Animation Studios' 2013 iconic film Frozen. Iduna is the mother of the sisters Elsa and Anna. Alongside King Agnarr, Iduna was the former Queen of Arendelle. In Frozen II (2019) the voice that Elsa heard belongs to her. This voice leads Iduna's daughters to discover her past amongst the Northuldra. It is highly speculated that Iduna is still alive, and will be returning to the story in Frozen III.
