I don’t think Ilima is an ISFP at all...fi dom? I feel like that’s wholly impossible for him...Ilima’s core values are consistently the consideration of others and one’s pokemon and empathy. He’s like an ENFJ stereotype in the way he’s portrayed in both the games and anime. Everything he does correlates to the Fe-Ti axis. If we’re going function by function, I’d say the following. Fe: his characterization. He consistently reminds others to consider their pokemon and has an incredibly charismatic personality, which is often considered an Fe trait. He’s also known to give unsolicited advice, one of the many vices of Fe doms. If you’re wondering, I’m specifically referring to episode 86 of the anime, where he stops a match to give his opponent advice on how to properly train his pokemon. He is highly interested in others and how they tick, it’s an integral part of his character that speaks extroverted feeling to me. Ni: I think this also lines up with his curiosity on how others act in battle. "It's not battle results that interest me. Rather, it's the carefully-thought-out strategies or novel tactics employed by Trainers. “How those plans affect one's opponent and influence the outcome of battles—that is where my interest lies!" is a great example of his Fe and Ni in play—concerned with the emotions and implications of a battle. Because his character is so heavily centered around consideration and because in most cases he’s deeply concerned with others and the implications of their actions, I would wager to say that he’s an Fe dom working with Ni instead of an Ni dom.
