It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for Van to be ENTP just like Ren. Van and Ren's main conflict is that their personalities are at odds with eachother. I think the reason for this is because Ren being NT looks to the future, while Van being SP is all about being in the moment. And this checks out with Van's actions. He doesnt need to practice the script perfectly, he just needs to step up when the time comes. His catchphrase "Everyday is an adventure. Life is for keeps." just oozes ESXP energy. Even when it comes to his feelings with Haruka. He falls quick and he wants to act on those feelings. Ren on the other hand because he's NT, is thinking about the consequences of acting on his feelings, weighing the scales to see what the best solution is. Van doesnt understand this at first because he can only come to the conclusion that since he likes Nanami he should ask her out. Overall he exhibits traits of an ESFP more than an ENTP by several measures.
