It's very interesting to read this character into the Myers-Briggs spectrum, because it's almost as the show itself forces Barry to have two split personalities. He doesn't want to kill anymore, and from the moment he enters this acting class onwards a new world suddenly opens up to him, making him aware of his past actions and thus his future actions, but then every obstacle he has to tackle up with makes him fall back to his old manners; he can't runaway from it all that easily. I believe he's not trying to become or exploring his shadow side (being the case of ISTX vs ENFX), because even as an actor he's still an introverted. He's learning how to me more creative and more instinctive onstage; on season 2 we get to see him contemplating things at a major scale and all of his actions seem to be Fi driven. He might have been a dormant INFP all of his life, and he didn't know it until now. The Barry from season 2 is way different than Barry from season 1, because all of these features have been heightened. That could only mean Barry from season 3 is going to take things even further.
