I think that people get confused because the guy is a comedian. In my opinion he was full on invested in being noticed, he saw the show as chance to get known by people (not saying it's something negative, he saw his opportunity and went for his chance). This fact is super obvious in the first episode with his behavior and especially when he talks about himself and says that he did some YouTube because he didn't had a job for quite sometime. Later on he changes his attitude a bit since he noticed the negative feedback and the board unhappy faces is an example, he kept talking about finding the ones who did it, it had some humor in it but I think he got a bit bothered by that, even though he expected it. He then reads the room and study the people to plan what to do next, probably was also focused on winning the prize. He was very Te-Se when "comedian mode" but u could se he's Te-Ni-Se>Fi when "player mode". He had a HUGE difficulty emphasizing with people and I saw it when the "N" types were togheter with the ISFJ, when she felt pressured by the questions and left crying they film the ENTJ laughing because he probably was taken aback by her reaction (it was quite funny, but I felt bad for the ISFJ's discomfort.) This is my opinion so far, feel free to disagree and explain your reason too!
