I believe Angelo looks like the type who engages in physical behaviour and put in use his senses for engaging in conversation instead of trying to connect in a deep level with people. He only sees the surface level of love and doesn't understand further regards about the big picture of nature nor he seems to be attracted to talk big questions of life or what's his role in the scheme of things. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who wants to talk about anything, but dramatic slander that is mostly on the surface level. Even though, he tries to make it seem all profound by adding layers to his hedonism.
