pdb intuitive bias my abhorred… you all really had me fooled. because ni is so difficult to recognize in characters, i feel that people see a character who seems like a stereotypical INTJ and decide to type them as such. however, with even a bit of thought put into this, jon is clearly a si user. as mentioned in other comments, jon always focuses on the minute details as opposed to the bigger picture. i think this is showcased well in his trying to understand distortion michael. it’s a complicated concept, something i believe a high ni or ne user would understand fairly easily, all things considered. jon is very set in his ways. it takes him seasons to warm up to martin, and it’s very obvious that he likes to stick to his ways. he’s stubborn. none of this is meant as a jab at jon, he is one of my favorite characters of all time, but i really struggle to see any use of ni in him.
