sometimes i remember that i got fully into typology at age 18 because i was looking up information about a book series, which led me to a fansite… that fansite then led me to a forum that specialized in analysis of animal behaviors, which caused me to research articles and books about animals and their behaviors, which led me to learning about human behavior, which wound me up on an enneagram website, which led to me checking an enneagram book out of my college library, which i used to write my own analyses and tests, which i then showed to people on the initial forum, which got me useful feedback from a psych student who explained jung’s theory to me, which led to us writing lists of likely enneagram-jung function correlations, etc. honestly if i use myself as any indication, ENTPs will learn about anything. geological trivia, the effect of solar eclipses on earth’s gravity, etymology of random names, the linguistic origin of “female” as it differs from “male” etc. etc. google isn’t just my friend at this point it’s my lover whom i frequently rendezvous with at a secluded gazebo. i hold it in my arms and whisper sweet nothings into it’s ear such as “where guinea pig come from” the answer might surprise you!—it’s not guinea or new guinea lmao
