Arson began his story as a marksman and assassin. Killing was always easy, but he was never truly sinister with his cursed gifts. He would only take jobs of people with a history of assault, or wife-beaters. As a man with a heart, he felt he could leave the job and live in peace. But on what he thought would be his last job - killing a rogue pyrotechnics scientist - that dream blew up in his face. With a disfigured look and a body burned to a crisp, Arson was a broken man he traveled far before giving up and dying. The pyrotechnics scientist who he was supposed to kill did something way worse. Arson woke up in a city, alone. His body has healed, but his face was a wreck. When a man tried to rob him. Arson glared at him. Suddenly the man burst into flames. In amazement and gradual approval Arson wanted to thank the scientist for giving him a new lease on life, but also wanted to kill him for ruining his life. With his new abilities Arson continues his job now with his weapon-Fire.
