I think her most recent video on Trisha Payta's non binary identity shows off some of her functions very well Si - When she recalled the Boy Who Cried Wolf Story as a defense against some people claiming Trisha's identity is fake. "It's just like the boy who cried wolf. Yeah he lied a bunch of of times, but eventually there was a wolf. Just like here. Yes, Trisha has trolled people alot in the past, but eventually they're going to be telling the truth". She also related her experiences before transitioning and how she felt like she was in the wrong body to how Trisha said they felt before coming to terms with their identity. And yes, I know this can be applied to most if not all trans people, but with Samantha, she just so quickly had a story at hand to relate to the current situation, it almost seemed effortless to me. Everything I just quoted is not word for word btw Fe - When she said how problematic it was that people were ragging on Trisha for not using the proper terminology is relation to her and many other trans peoples' identity. Also, how she repeatedly says that although she's not condoning Trisha's past behavior, she genuinely believes in them. Also, in relation to her Fe, whenever Samantha is reacting to a trans plotline in a tv show/movie i.e Big Mouth, South Park, Family Guy, etc. she, as with most people can acknowledge the lingering problematic aspects of this media, but is so quick to empathize with and relate to the character and give the shows/movies their deserved props. Which is definitely not a bad thing.
