After catching up over the latest comments, I agree that he's practically NOT the same person (a borrowing for personality, that is) after the despairing events in the anime. He seemed to be immersed in his shadow forever during the game and considering it's the "main" version of him it's almost acceptable to say anime Nagito and game Nagito are different people, for the changing due to the trauma the 77B class passed, and by so being so extremely sensitive and prone to take things deep within his heart, it's no surprise how he completely became the opposite from there onwards. INFJs do be making the light/dark stereotype a thing, at least in fiction. I'm settled down with this for now. Tl;dr: what I tried to say is that it's possible to say he changed his personality, for crazier that seems, considering he was brainwashed to death.
