i think hes an INFP after watching the show a few times. in his sermons, he goes on numerous tangents about his own miserable life and projecting his own values and beliefs rather than talking about the bible just screams fi-ne in my eyes. mainly just his desires to have some kind of romantic affection in his life from being lonely for so long. i think hes def an example of an unhealthy fi, hes not as horrible as most of everyone else in the show, but hes just a pretty flawed guy. and his biggest flaw is that he lets his insecurities and inner feelings get the best of him. in ‘repression’ he refused to give fakey advice because of jealousy because fakey has a wife and a mistress and rev doesn’t have anything. his inf te could be because he always complains about his problems but never really did anything to fix them however, he slowly becomes a healthier fi as the show continues. especially with being introduced to his long lost daughter in his life and actually becomes a better person/father near the end and becomes more sensitive to stephanie and accepting the fact that she is a lesbian and doesnt try to change who she is. one of the most terminally INFP characters of all time

Reverend Rod Putty is the minister of God's Favorite Protestant Church and a major character in Moral Orel. Despite being a religious leader, he is hardly righteous. Rod is a lonely and deeply depressed man who doesn't have many friends and notably doesn't have a spouse. He desperately craves romantic love and getting laid. His loneliness has caused him to become a snarky, insecure, desperate, and easily annoyed man who has a habit of projecting his own life issues into his sermons. He thinks he’s misunderstood by others.
