why are you guys voting ISTP? seriously, have you even read the novel? or are you basing your vote on how he was acting when possesed by LeBay? and even after the possesion, the moments where he did get the chance to take control of his body, he still had the same personality, that he had in the beggining. there are so many scenes of him and Dennis where he shows extremely strong Fi, like literally any scene before Christine and LeBay started affecting him and i can't remember a single time he used Ti, so how come he would be a Ti-dom? his Te is inferior, but shows very clearly, since he always seeks answers on his questions and advice from Dennis, since he trusts him, so even as inferior his Te works well. i'm not sure whether he is INFP or ISFP tho, because i could see both, but i'm leaning towards ISFP since he is very present-orientated. also obvious 9w1, since he is quite the stereotype of conflict avoidant person, who is quiet most of the time. also i thinkt his tritype is 926 and it's also pretty obvious.
