Romantic idealist who falls in love with the idea of a girl who he only vaguely sees on the bus now and then... Pinnacle of an INFP, right there. Not to mention his NE through the movie, and Manny basically being Hank's Identity itself. He lives afraid that he won't conform to societal norms, that he CAN'T, and that makes him depressed and with a bleak outlook on life. He wants to be himself, but in a way, he knows society won't accept him as an individual. Well, that's my take on it.
