[UPDATE: I don’t stand by my argument anymore after 2nd novel… I don’t think he is an ISTP but I am not sure what type fits better, so please please give arguments!! Maybe it is ISTP, or one of the xNTJ types. I still believe he isn’t a Fi dom, though, so please, not that.] Okay, I was going to reserve my vote for after the 2nd novel release since we’d know more about his character, and even now I’m still not very sure about his type at all, but if there is something I’m sure of, it’s that he is absolutely NOT a Fi dom, and I really think he’s more on the Se-Ni axis than the Ne-Si. (I understood every other vote on this page EXCEPT for INFP. Is someone double voting because I can’t believe some of these votes for novelgram, unless they have read the whole novel.) ISTP/INTJ/ENTJ are my best bets, but I’m going with the first because Fe over Fi. I think he is more inclined to the Ti-Fe axis than Te-Fi because he has more instances of (weak) Fe coming out rather than Fi, meaning the former is more likely to be in his stack and the latter not. E.g.: His decision to follow Sumi’s demand for him to keep the door shut instead of deciding to save her anyway feels like Fe, choosing someone else’s wishes over what you personally feel would be right. Even when hanging out with Sumi, it isn’t because he personally wanted to go do something or because of any personal desires or values, but rather because he was thinking of Sumi first and that he couldn’t leave her, especially with what was going on. ALSO for Ti, I think his whole having a philosophy that “humans have no value, love for things disappear quickly” feels like subjective internal logic, rather than Te. HOWEVER his whole deal with focusing on worth and value and not wanting to get close to people since they are have no value anyway can also be Te. Idk, he feels like he trusts his personal judgment more than anything. Also I think he has stronger Se; his whole story feels very sensory, and his way of perceiving the world is very much based on tangible things. His appreciation of art, his wanting to spend time on the rooftop. But also I can see Ni, he views the world as “nothing in life stays, there’s no value to most things”, and has this sense that if you stay in the library of sins for too long then it’ll erode you (gut/intuition). I could honestly see votes for both stronger Se or stronger Ni, I don’t really mind, I just think he’s on the Se-Ni axis. I don’t think this guy has an ounce of Ne in him lmao. Honestly. I don’t really care about him being ISTP specifically, but gosh, where is the Fi-Ne??? I think XNTJ is also a good vote, honestly. I just lean towards Ti-Fe and also him having 8th function Fi. (I am willing to change my vote if someone gives good arguments for Te-Fi over Ti-Fe, and likewise would love to see someone consider my point for Ti-Fe!)
