Copy from my reply, for anyone need: I’ll explain slowly, here’s an example Ni-Ti: First, thinking about the individuals right in front of me (people close to me) and noticing contradictions in their behavior → if contradictions appear, then expanding or moving to a higher level to look for common patterns (groups of people who behave similarly, who allows them to act that way, why they resemble each other) → then continuing to look for further irrational contradictions → continuing to move to an even higher level (broader, more generalized, more abstract) in order to explain them. This process keeps repeating: Ni feeds patterns for Ti to analyze and process, then sends the results back so Ni can search for new, larger patterns that might provide an answer. There is very little outward emotional influence (Fe) involved here; the further it goes, the more the model becomes self-sustaining and emotional factors are strongly eliminated (unless the core of the issue is fundamentally emotional in nature). In the end, it could leads to feelings of paralysis, meaninglessness, boredom, and absurdity. INFJs often mistype as INTPs because of this Ni-Ti process.
