i love his portrayal of enneagram 6 ! - he seems to not stray too far from others, he would seek help + build relationships involving a genuine trust or just relatively good bond with others for his goals. i think 6s r pretty ppl orientated for this reason, it's nice to see it in lanzhou w how he develops (im still reading) ! - hes particularly reactive to what may pose as a threat to him, involving those connections he has, always double checking things and preparing for the worst. i find that 8 would b 2nd fix bc of how he would assert himself against any threat, it fits w his 6 from how he thinks + develops his plans not sure abt his heart fix but rn leaning more to 4. hes obviously a workaholic + ambitious + goal-orientated but i dont think he rlly cares abt being seen as marketable with both himself and others as a 3 would from that / adopts the traits of his peers (like xiao chiye). i think lanzhou's goals have always been linked to his 6, strongly standing up with what his teacher raised him for. i'm thinking 4 considering how he tends to withdraw from others to focus on himself / others, as if seeing himself rather separate from others
