Sexual 4s are characterized by seeking to be the center of others, based on some characteristic that allows them to feel different from the rest. This is precisely what the character shown here does when he offers to go out into the abyss. He not only wants to corrupt human beings, he wants to boast about them to compensate for his inferiority complex when he feels replaced, displaced by the son of God. All of his thoughts are based on a conglomeration of unverifiable and manipulative ideas in which he abstracts himself to convince others to follow his orders. Use Ne to make others doubt, Ti to make your ideas appear to make sense or pretend that you have a valid point (even if you blatantly lie), and Fe to convince that your actions are not for the purpose of fulfill their own purposes, if not for their own good so as not to be subjected (In this case, for God). It is also a little different from the satan of the bible. In the Bible he mainly seeks to exercise power and subjugate others through corruption, with a sadistic pleasure in it, using the same cognitive functions, but with a wilder and less humanized behavior, more typical of the type 8 enegram. Biblical Satan has no desire to glorify himself in such a blatant way as in Paradise Lost. The Satan of Paradise Lost does not even sadistically enjoy the fall of humanity, but instead seeks to assume the role of being the complete opposite of God by being banished from heaven. It could be said that this character is a more melodramatic and romantic version than the original, mainly with the objective of making us empathize with him.
