I thought he was an xSFJ at first, but a lot of his Fe-like tendencies are because he's an enneagram 9. Edit: I always kinda saw Nate as being a chill and calm version of Serena. They both hate being controlled and told what to do (and sometimes self-sabotage as a result) and both impulsively jump from one pointless relationship to another and neither really know what they want lol Nate's 9ness is what stops him from going off the rails like Serena but he wasn't really a compelling character because of it. Nate was kinda: Fi + Se: Hated being told what to do and how to live his life by his parents, made of note of saying how he hated having a life mapped out/planned for him + Enneagram 9: Doesn't know what he wants and doesn't really have any goals or aspirations and doesn't want to rock the boat so he ends up usually doing what people want from him anyway lol It's been a while since I watched the show but this is how I see him.
