alright im back now that i've finished the main story and i definitely stand by my word that shino's a 3w4. it's almost painfully clear to me. nearly all of his actions throughout the course of the main story are to seem successful, be a hero (to heathcliff), not be seen as a "nobody", and get praised. he tries to sell himself out as someone much bigger than he is and occasionally comes to terms with how he's not a great as he pretends. he jumps on opportunities to be looked up to or celebrated, such as the parade and the wizard's ceremony. there are times where he seems to completely shift in personality to impress people and seem charming, a contrast to his normally straight-forward, brash personality. he's not a 3w2 as he's definitely not a people person outside of getting praised/being seen as successful. in general i just have no idea how he got typed as a 6. he never or at least very rarely shows a need for security to the point that it defines his personality, and isn't a very anxious person like a 6 may be.
