Looking closely to this character, I can see he's a Fi dominant. Faust prefers not to talk about his own needs or feelings, always putting himself down by saying others are more suited to having someone better than him closer. He's so self deprecating that it became an shield for his own true feelings, always running away from conflict and his true emotions as if his life depended on it. He says he wouldn't care if people left him behind, if they moved on without him, but that's what he's more scared of. He loves the people who loves him just the same, but he struggles with it due to trauma and can't decide if he should truly trust or distrust them. He wants to have someone he can lean on to, but he's afraid of getting hurt any more than he already is. Until this point he still feels like he knows people better and can see through their desires, futhermore this leads him to believe people will always want something from him.
