I think he is likely an ISTJ. He is very cautious and practical, always inclined to follow the traditional paths and be considered and calm. He seems very cold on the outside, but is inwardly much more sensitive and has a strong moral compass and beliefs, which he can be very stubborn about. (Tertiary Fi).
