Nefera de Nile is usually kind, generous and approachable, as she sports a very optimistic and helpful attitude towards other monsters (this is helpful considering that she appears to be a student teacher). Despite treating her sister kindly, Nefera doesn't realize that her performances are upstaging Cleo, thus not realizing how much it causes her to be jealous of always being first in everything. She loves and cares for her younger sister and always gives her love, but does get irritated by her desire to be the center of attention. During her debut episode, Nefera realized that her upstaging is affecting her sister, and as a result she tries to understand her sister much better. Cleo's dislike over Nefera is because of jealousy, because Nefera always got the lead role on school plays, while Cleo always have background roles. Despite it, Nefera always treats her little sister kindly. But Cleo actually cares for her sister, when Nefera was about to fall on the lava, Cleo gave up on getting the Heart of Cleopatra to save her sister, and she gave up her own heart to stop the place from collapsing. After being thanked by Nefera, Cleo, at first annoyed but then kindly, hugged Nefera. They returned to Monster High after Frankie created a heart of stone to replace Cleo's heart so she can take it back, after this, their sisterly relationship became better.
