Ed is a main character in The Enemy series by Charlie Higson, and is one of the few characters to appear in every book. His first appearance by name is in The Dead, the second book in the series and the first chronologically. He appears as a main character in The Dead, The Sacrifice, The Hunted and (possibly) The End. Ed is one of the older kids. After escaping his boarding school in London, Ed lives in London Tower for a year, where he suffers with survivors guilt & symptoms of PTSD from the events that occurred in The Dead. Ed was a well-liked kid before the series and continues to get along with most people during the books, where he is often looked up to as a leader.
