Here’s my take, INFJ’s and ENFP’a are similar when perceived by an outside passerby. They are the “golden pair” for a reason.. however, Maria holds so much knowledge as a gentle guide for being a dead character. Maria’s character could really fit well with either type, but INFJ might be a better fit due to her visionary tendencies and how she inspires Shadow beyond just the present moment as she is a dead character. I think this is the example of the “all seeing” self aware individual who is able to craft the future off of the patterns they have experienced. That knowledge was used to guide shadow in the present day. I think this is a good example of her being an NI dom. Not to mention her few times when she falls into the INFJ loop with existential dread. Those moments when she feared confused Shadow and made him think that something about her had an underlying hatred towards people.

Suffering from a rare incurable illness, she once lived with Gerald aboard the Space Colony ARK, where she met the newly-created Shadow and quickly befriended him. However, she was killed by GUN forces that stormed the ARK.
