It seems the show's writers have an inkling about MBTI, seeing that NJ mentioned her type. They established Yeon Soo and Choi's dynamic really well, capitalizing on the unhealthy imbalance between their dominant and inferior functions—Yeon Soo being overly authoritative yet dishonest and Choi being overly genuine but childish. Seeing them typed as opposites makes so much sense because they attempt to overcome their weaknesses by teaching each other their strengths. Yeon Soo always pushed Choi to achieve something big, while Choi pushed Yeon Soo to dream of something important to herself. Te-Fi and Fi-Te looking out for each other. Very romantic concept, I must say.
