Well, since I seem to have plenty of time on my hands, I might as well try and break down this fella's personality. ( DISCLAIMER! - I'm still slightly new to this whole personality type thing!! I'm most familiar with the MBTI typings, but even then I still get things wrong sometimes. Feel free to correct me, ask questions, or try to debate for a different MBTI, Enneagram, or Temperament in the comments. (: ) MBTI - ENFJ E - (Extraverted) There are multiple things that could back this up. 1. He's considered to be very popular in school, evidence from the horde of girls behind him. 2. Senpai literally goes up to Boyfriend and Girlfriend to start up the battle. Boyfriend doesn't walk up to him and peev him off or anything, in fact he was the one who was approached. 3. He's got a very unbridled sense of confidence. You can feel it from the very beginning. 4. This is a little bit more leaning towards EXFX, but the way that he acts towards them in the beginning seems very kind. As we know, it doesn't stay for long though. N - (Intuition) This one is a little harder to prove? You could say intuitive because of the way he flipped out when losing the first battle with Boyfriend, but I'm not too sure at this point. There's not much that points in either direction, at least, from my perspective. F - (Feeling) This character definitely gives me feeling vibes. I mean, he starts up the battle by singing for Girlfriend's hand. Also, the way he gets peeved after that first song-- if he was a thinker his reaction would be different. J - (Judging) What makes me think judging is again, the battle for Girlfriend's hand. The way he flips out when his plan doesn't work seems to back it up. Also, as far as I can tell, EXXJ's are usually pretty confident, though I could be wrong. Enneagram - 3 "3. The Achiever- The Success-Oriented, Pragmatic Type: Adaptive, Excelling, Driven, and Image-Conscious." - https://www.enneagraminstitute.com/type-descriptions Success-Oriented? Definitely. Again, when he flips out when he loses the first song tells you that winning is important to him. Excelling is a definite yes. He's got a lot of confidence in himself, which usually is backed up by /excelling/ in things. Senpai is /quite/ driven as well. Starting up a battle to get a girl's heart is overkill in the first place, so it's definitely what I'd call driven. The way he gets mad with the first song? Well, one of the reasons to that is because the girls see that he's not actually perfect. Him losing his cool would also show his flaws, which would be a real motive to keep pushing. Temperament - Sanguine-Choleric Seeing that at first he acts real social and charismatic shows that there /is/ a little bit of sanguine in there. After the whole getting mad thing, also being incredibly driven during the entire week (until he dies), shows those shadowed choleric tendencies. Sorry if I sounded a little bit like a broken record during all that- as you know, we don't see too much actual dialogue from him, so there wasn't too much to go off of. I can say that he does give me pretty strong ENFJ vibes though.
